Verga 1947 is proud partner of Milano Watch Week.

Milan, the capital of fashion and design, is also preparing to become the beating heart
of independent watchmaking with the first edition of Milan Watch Week. The event,
which will be held from 4 to 6 October 2024 on the top two floors of the renowned Terrazza Martini,
will see the participation of the most prestigious independent watchmaking brands.

Milan Watch Week promises to be an unmissable event for
enthusiasts and professionals in the sector. During the three days, visitors will have some
the opportunity to explore the latest creations of master watchmakers, discuss with those in
first person creates the most incredible timepieces of the moment, participates in exclusive talks,
sector presentations and discussions, offering a complete and in-depth view
of contemporary watchmaking.

This edition of Milano Watch Week is not limited to timepieces but aims to blend
watchmaking with everything Italy has to offer. From wines to gastronomy, from tailoring
to the art of Dolce Vita, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in experiences
where worlds merge.

In collaboration with friends from MyStyle Bags and Portofino Dry Gin, Verga 1947 organized an aperitif in a magnificent garden in the heart of Milan, in Via Verri 1, where the new MyStyle Bags showroom was inaugurated.

Verga 1947 has decided to exhibit the Gerald Charles watch collection for this occasion, which goes well with the casual and summer format of the event.

On Wednesday 20 March, the “Verga 1947 - Moser & Cie. Dinner” was held at the Radisson Hotel Palazzo Touring in Milan.

The evening saw the presence of 20 collector customers who were able to admire the wonders created by Moser & Cie., an independent Swiss maison with a unique and sophisticated design.

The diners were then entertained with a tasting of Don Julio 1942 promoted by Diageo.

In collaboration with Hublot Italia and Lamborghini Milano, Verga 1947 invited its customers and Lamborghini customers to visit the Hublot manufactory in Geneva, a 14,000 m2 high-tech factory where Hublot constantly pushes the frontiers of watchmaking innovation beyond new limits.
The guests left the Lamborghini dealership in Milan aboard 4 splendid Lamborghinis to reach Geneva and admire the production phases for the creation of Hublot's masterpieces.
The visit concluded with the presentation of some sensational pieces and limited editions.

The tournament featured 24 teams, for a total of 48 players, who competed until the final.

On the occasion of the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix, together with our partners Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin Milan, we organized an event where you can admire some models of the incredible Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin collections, including the race car AMR21 used by Aston Martin in the Formula 1 world championship.
Also present at the event was driver Nico Hulkenberg who told the guests present about the sensations and criticalities of driving a Formula 1 single-seater.

What is more sought after than a Patek Philippe watch? Wanted, sophisticated, is the theme of the 21st edition of the long-awaited "Tribute to the Movement" golf competition by Patek Philippe. Conceived to bring together owners of Patek Philippe watches, lovers of fine watchmaking and exclusive dealers representing the Geneva-based manufacture in Italy, it took place on Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 July at the Circolo Golf Villa d’Este in Montorfano.
And how can we not associate the word Wanted with the posters that stand out in every Sergio Leone western film, in which the bandit is hunted by justice with a bounty of thousands of dollars? Hence, the race has turned into a journey from the 18 holes of the Club to the Wild West.
Also this year the response of the guests was enthusiastic: over 80 players for each day were welcomed under the hospitality tent set up on the terrace and by a rich brunch, and wearing the personalized Patek Philippe polo shirt they ventured into the first challenge: putting. green on 9 holes.
The country-western theme is declined since the arrival of the guests in the clubhouse with large compositions of cacti and hay bales, horseshoes and colored bandanas: on the field 3 greedy buffets offered tacos, corn on the cob and mini Texan burgers. A cowboy and a “gentlewoman” from Saloon invited the teams for a souvenir photo in a themed set.
The great protagonist of the event was, as always, the collection of the Geneva-based maison: in the hall of the clubhouse, the Patek Philippe novelties presented this year were exhibited, including the new Calatrava Clou de Paris and the new Perpetual Calendar in line with case in platinum.
After the award ceremony, the two-day event ended with an aperitif on the terrace of the clubhouse, animated by DJ Andrea Barbagelata and a repertoire of great west classics by maestro Morricone.

Together with our partners AutoVanti and Girard Perregaux we have offered our customers an interesting food and wine experience at the Agriturismo Mormoraia in San Gimignano, to discover the excellence of the area. It was also an opportunity to see in detail and learn the particularities of various models of one of the most important haute watchmaking maison, which is Girard Perregaux.

The evening, held in the picturesque Mengoni room of the Cracco restaurant in Galleria Vitorio Emanuele II, was a pleasant opportunity to meet our Patek Philippe collectors and to contemplate together some of the most complicated watches in the collection proposed by the Geneva-based maison. It was also the first time in Italy that it was possible to show those present the 6300G watch, the most complicated watch in the Patek Philippe collection with as many as 20 complications.

Laura Gervasoni, managing director of Patek Philippe Italia, gave a presentation regarding the history and characteristics of the models in the collection; then the technical manager of Patek Philippe Italia, Paolo Trevisi, explained in detail the particularities of the various models as well as making those present hear the sounds of the minute repeaters.
